Vintage Late 1920s–Early 1930s Rose Gold Satin & Lace Tiered Evening Dress with Bow-Tie Sleeves, XS

Exquisite vintage late 1920s to early 1930s evening dress crafted in pale brownish rose-gold satin with delicate lace trim and dramatic tiered skirt. This is a truly special transitional piece, blending the romance of late 1920s detailing with the softer, fluid elegance emerging in the early 1930s — though she is not perfect.

The dress is styled with a subtle lace-trimmed neckline at the front and a graceful scooped lace back, finished with distinctive front and back collar tails that fall longer at the back for beautiful movement. Long sleeves are accented with satin tie-bow details at the cuffs, and a defined satin waistband anchors the silhouette. The tiered skirt is especially striking, adding volume, texture, and wonderful visual drama.

I’ve shown the back collar tails styled several different ways — they’re incredibly eye-catching and give the dress a true statement presence.

There are no closures aside from snaps at the sleeve hems. This dress slips on over the head, so ease of fit through the shoulders and bust is important.

Petite-leaning proportions with a narrow shoulder width. Designed to slip on over the head, so comfortable ease through the shoulders and bust is important when considering fit.

Condition: Good. Some small areas of fabric impressions and localized weaknesses consistent with age and wear. Two tears at the right underarm, one following the seam line. Assorted markings present, including a pink “lipstick” mark on the upper sleeve. A water stain is visible, shown in the final photo; the outline is more apparent from the interior. The most notable issues are documented in the photos.

Please note: prior to wear, the right underarm tears should be reinforced and backed to prevent further tearing.
