Vintage 1930s Sheer Green Organdy Gown, Embroidered Flutter Sleeve Art Deco Bias-Cut Dress, S / S-M

Gorgeous vintage 1930s sheer pale celery green bias-cut gown crafted in fine embroidered organdy or silk organza, paired with its original green rayon under-slip. A beautiful example of early 1930s design, this dress features a softly draped cross-over bodice with delicate flutter sleeves and a gently seamed waist that flows into a long, fluid bias-cut skirt. Decorative scalloped seam detailing at the hip area adds subtle structure and visual interest while maintaining the dress’s effortless movement.

The skirt falls to a graceful floor length, moving beautifully with the body in true 1930s fashion. Side snap closures secure the overdress, while the under-slip straps are stitched to the overdress at the shoulder seams. The antique silk ribbon shown at the waist is not original but will be included with the purchase as a styling accessory.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. The under-slip shows one area of discoloration and two spots on the front, noted for transparency and shown in the final images. The original belt is missing. The overdress presents beautifully with no major issues noted.
