Vintage 1930s Red Silk Gold Lamé Brocade Gown with Leg-of-Mutton Sleeves

Show-stopping late 1930s red silk gold lamé evening gown with incredibly dramatic, sculptural leg-of-mutton sleeves and gold tone rosette button accents! The gold lamé brocade weave features an amazing oval honeycomb pattern. Sleek and form fitting, with flattering tuck pleats extending down each shoulder, a nipped waistline and a body-skimming skirt with a sweeping hem. The dress closes at the left side and underneath the gold tone buttons with a multitude of snaps. The skirt hem is lined with horsehair trim.

Condition: Very Good!
Tarnish / darkening to areas of the lamé. 1 teensy hole to silk ground. Interior structural silk lining for mutton sleeves has underarm lightening (not visible at all when wearing).
