Vintage 1930s Black Tulle Net Evening Gown with Ruffled Back & Bias Cut Slip

Vintage 1930s evening gown made of sheer black tulle net with gathered tulle ruffles trimming the sweetheart neckline and arm openings. The back features a low neckline with fabulous gathered and tiered ruffle detailing extending across the hips and down the full-length skirt.

The interior black rayon taffeta slip is cut on the bias and partially attached to the tulle outer layer. Both the outer gown and underslip have snap closures and a couple hook/eyes up along the left side waist.

I added the contrasting chartreuse green ribbon that ties into a bow at the back. It is not original to the dress but will be included if desired.

Length: 58" (the rayon taffeta under slip is approx. 1" longer than tulle net).

Condition: Good! Scattered holes of varying sizes throughout the tulle net, including several larger holes; most are difficult to notice against the black lining when worn. Photos show the most notable examples. Missing the original belt. Wearable with care.
