Vintage 1920s Straw & Horsehair Cloche Hat with Wide Upturned Brim and Velvet Flowers

Beautiful vintage 1920s cloche hat constructed from textured openwork straw braid stitched in curved rows, with sheer horsehair braid panels running over the crown. Designed with a subtly upturned wide brim and trimmed with pale golden beige satin ribbon that wraps around the crown and ends in a bow at the front right side. A cluster of pale pink velvet flower petals with green leaves accents the front left side of the upturned brim. Lined in golden beige silk.

Inner Crown Circumference: Approx. 21 1/2”
Height: Approx. 6”

Condition: Very Good! Some soiling to the interior lining at the nape. The front right side of the straw brim is folded under and needs to be gently reshaped.
