Vintage 1920s Black Silk Gold Beaded Dress with Belt, Art Deco 20s, S/M–M

Vintage 1920s black silk crepe dress with gold glass beadwork and matching beaded tie belt, showcasing striking Art Deco design and Jazz Age elegance. Gold-toned glass beads trim the neckline, extend down the center front, and accent the long sleeve hems, waist, upper hip, and lower skirt, creating beautiful vertical emphasis and movement. A very long coordinating beaded silk crepe sash ties at the waist, completing the look.

The waist is softly gathered, allowing for comfortable flexibility through the midsection. There are no closures; this dress is designed to be pulled on over the head, so ease is important when considering fit.

Please note: the final collage shows interior alterations. The waistline was raised at some point, and the original narrow belt loops now sit lower than the altered waistline. Excess fabric is present at the shoulders and along the sides of the skirt, consistent with the alteration work. These details are clearly shown in the last collage—please review images carefully.

Condition: Very Good. An interior patch is present at the front left shoulder (the 8th image shows both interior and exterior views). Two small areas of bead loss with cut threads have been secured and tied off to prevent further loss. One small hole is present at the back, along with a minor wear spot at the side. Alterations are as noted above. Overall, the dress presents beautifully with strong visual impact and wearable structure.
