Heavily beaded vintage 1920s flapper dress crafted in net and silk, richly embellished with clear and iridescent black glass beadwork. This striking Jazz Age dress is styled with a scoop neckline and sheer silk georgette long sleeves, each finished with delicate beaded hems. An outer net overlay is densely adorned with bugle beads, tube beads, and faceted jewels arranged in an allover floral design, culminating in dramatic beaded tassel fringe at the front and back hem panels.
Beneath the embellished net overlay, the dress is underlined in solid black silk (with the exception of the sheer sleeves), with additional silk panels at the skirt sides to provide coverage while maintaining the light, fluid feel typical of 1920s evening wear. There are no closures; the dress slips on over the head and is designed for a relaxed, body-skimming fit.
Label: None / handmade

Best Fit: XS / Small
Bust: 32"

Shown on dress form with 33" bust and 24" waist.
Condition: Good vintage condition. The net overlay shows age-related issues, including areas where the net has been cut to different lengths across the bodice (unclear if original or a later alteration), and a few spots where the net has separated from the upper net layer and will need to be stitched back into place. Some darning, loose threads, and a hole to the net at the back are present. Rust spotting is visible on the silk underlayer, with the most notable areas shown in photos. Please note: the dress came with the entire hemline previously altered to a shorter length; these stitches have been removed, and the hem has been returned to its pre-altered state.
