Vintage Late 1930s–1940s Wedding Dress, Satin & Net Lace Bridal Gown with Off-Shoulder Collar, Small

Beautiful vintage late 1930s to 1940s wedding gown crafted in creamy ivory satin with a soft ecru net lace overlay. This elegant bridal dress features a sculpted V-neck bodice of patterned net lace layered over satin, with a gently ruched center front that flatters the bust. A gathered lace shawl collar wraps gracefully around the shoulders, creating a refined off-shoulder effect characteristic of late-1930s bridal design.

The standout detail is the dramatic pair of tiered net lace peplums set at the hips. Each peplum layer is finished with stiffened edging, creating a beautifully flared silhouette that adds movement and architectural interest. The skirt falls long and fluid, balancing softness with structure. The gown fastens at the back with a long row of elegant lace-covered buttons.

Matching fingerless lace gloves are included and complete the ensemble, making this a striking and cohesive vintage bridal look.

Note: Shoulder straps could be lengthened by approximately 2 1/2" if desired.

Condition: Good vintage condition. Light yellowing is present under the arms, along with some lace breakage. The net lace overlay at the skirt has a few small holes, including a very small area near the right bottom of the bodice and a few minor areas on the skirt and peplum. These issues are subtle and blend into the lace, remaining largely unnoticeable when worn.
