Gorgeous antique 1910s Edwardian cotton lingerie dress crafted from exceptionally fine, sheer, and lightweight materials. The body of the dress is composed of an airy windowpane-weave cotton combined with equally delicate sheer white cotton, creating a soft, translucent effect typical of high-quality lingerie dresses from the period.
Dainty floral embroidery decorates the neckline and attached front vest panel, continuing along the elbow-length sleeves and cascading down the skirt in elegant finger-like projections. The skirt is further detailed with a horizontal embroidered band accented by diamond-shaped filet lace and embroidered insets.
The dress fastens with numerous hook-and-loop closures down the center front bodice, transitioning to snaps across the left side waist and back to hook-and-loop closures along the upper portion of the left side skirt. An interior cotton grosgrain waistband encircles the waist, providing gentle structure and support.
