Antique Late 1910s Ivory Mohair Felt Hat with Ostrich Feather & Silk Ribbon Trim

Exceptional antique late 1910s hat crafted in soft ivory mohair felt, featuring a softly domed crown and gently flared brim. The crown is encircled with hand-worked silk ribbon bows with knotted centers, and a large silk rosette at the left side anchors a dramatic ostrich plume that rises gracefully into the air.

The mix of soft mohair felt, flowing ostrich feather, and silk ribbon gives the hat beautiful texture throughout. Finished with an original silk lining. A narrow interior silk securing tie is present and knotted where it previously broke. A refined, high-quality example of late 1910s millinery, equally striking worn or displayed.

Size: Small. Shown on a 20" mannequin head. Fits up to approximately a 22" head circumference, though it will sit higher on the crown.

Condition: Excellent overall. Minor stain to the interior silk lining, not visible when worn. Light wear to a few silk ribbon bows. The ostrich feather shows breaks to the central stem in places.
