Antique Edwardian Printed Cotton Walking Skirt, 1900s–1910s, 24" Waist

Antique Edwardian walking skirt dating to the 1900s–1910s, crafted in a lightweight black cotton silk-blend printed with a striking lilac pink floral and circular motif. The skirt is styled with a fitted high waistband and beautifully executed seamwork, creating a flattering A-line silhouette that remains softly fitted through the upper hip before flaring gently toward the hem.

A particularly eye-catching detail is the lilac pink–trimmed diagonal tuck pleat, finished with three fabric-covered buttons at each end. This decorative pleated panel sweeps diagonally across the right side of the skirt, continues around the back, and finishes at the lower front left along the same seam line. The skirt fastens at center back with hook and eye closures extending partially into the upper skirt.
