Antique 1920s Wedding Dress, Candlelight Satin & Lace Bridal Gown with 3D Flowers & Original Portrait, XXS - XS

Beautiful vintage 1920s wedding dress accompanied by its original bridal portrait photograph and surviving netting from the former veil. Crafted in warm candlelight-hued satin, the gown is styled with a softly V’d neckline framed by an intricate floral net lace collar. Dimensional fabric flowers accent the right side of the skirt, adding a sculptural, romantic detail characteristic of early Jazz Age bridal fashion.

The silhouette is body-skimming and elegant, shaped with V-seamwork through the bodice and falling into a fluid skirt with an elongated back hem for graceful movement. This authentic 1920s bridal ensemble includes the original wedding portrait, a length of silk netting, and two wax orange blossom accents. Based on the portrait, it appears the netting was once layered over a scalloped veil, with the orange blossom accents positioned at the sides; the scalloped veil itself is no longer present.

There are no closures on the dress—it is designed to be pulled on over the head. This is a very petite piece, and narrow shoulders are essential for dressing. Please review measurements carefully.

Please note: there is seam allowance at both sides that could be let out. The dress appears to have been altered smaller at some point, with additional stitching closing the inner underarm seam and faint, barely visible former stitch marks present.

Model measurements for reference: 30B bust, 24 1/2" waist, 14" shoulder width. It was a tight fit through the shoulders and difficult to pull on, underscoring the petite nature of this gown.

Condition: Good to Good+. Alteration as noted above. Light discoloration is present, primarily on the back skirt, along with one water mark on the front bodice that is largely concealed by the lace collar. A few tiny pin-point holes are also present.
