Antique 1920s Cerise Pink Beaded Silk Dress with Velvet Ribbon Back, XS

Gorgeous antique 1920s evening dress crafted in cerise-pink silk, richly embellished with intricate gray/black glass beadwork in bold, graphic motifs. The beadwork is especially striking against the vibrant pink ground.

Classic 1920s silhouette, with a sleeveless, softly structured bodice and a low-set waist that falls into a gently flared, fluid skirt. The beadwork is thoughtfully placed, concentrated through the bodice and echoed again at the skirt panel for balance and movement. In motion, the beads catch the light beautifully, adding depth and subtle sparkle without overwhelming the color.

One of the most charming features is the dramatic back detail: a velvet ribbon sash that extends across and down the left side with a bow detail at the waist, and trailing ends adding a touch of theatrical elegance. The back bodice is also fully beaded, making this dress visually compelling from every angle. Only closures are a few snaps and one hook/eye along left waistline. You'll need to be able to pull this on over your head.

Condition: Good antique condition. The silk shows age-appropriate wear throughout, including areas of faint grayish shading at underarms, uneven coloration with deeper saturation below the waist, consistent with the natural aging of dyed 1920s silk. A small charcoal-toned surface mark is present, along with minor silk abrasion and faint wear near along hemline visible upon close inspection. These issues are cosmetic and do not affect the structural integrity or overall presentation of the dress. Beadwork remains largely intact and secure, with no major losses.
