Antique 1910s Purple Velvet Extra Wide Brim Picture Hat with Ostrich Feather Plume, Titanic Era Hat

Dramatic extra-extra wide brim purple velvet picture hat embellished with a long ostrich feather plume and cream silk taffeta ribbon bow accents! The color and size of the brim are absolutely eye-catching. Fine cream silk lined crown, underneath of which is a paper maker's or retailer's tag.

Outside circumference: 65"
Crown circumference: 23"
Crown height: approximately 4 1/2"

Condition: Fair+ There are multiple wear areas to velvet along with surface dust. Some wear to ostrich feather. Interior silk lining has approximately. 3" opening along edge that needs to be hand picked back down - which did expose the under crown with the paper maker's tag. You can also see handwriting here but it's not visible on outside.
