Romantic and ethereal vintage 1930s blouse crafted from exceptionally fine, sheer ivory silk. This striking piece features dramatic tiered ruffles cascading across the bodice and sleeves, creating beautiful movement and texture. Sculptural leg-of-mutton sleeves are full through the upper arm to the elbow before tapering elegantly at the cuffs, a silhouette that nods to Victorian revival influences popular in the early 1930s.
The blouse fastens down the front with delicate triplicate button-and-loop closures. Light as air and visually stunning, this is a rare example of early 20th-century silk blouse design.
Please note: the silk is extremely fine and delicate. Due to its age and fragility, this blouse is best suited for limited or occasional wear, such as styled photo shoots, historical display, or special events. Care should be taken when handling and wearing. This piece is best appreciated as a collectible or heirloom garment.
Modeled with an antique skirt for styling purposes only; skirt is not included.
