Antique Edwardian 1900s Embroidered Metallic Silk Ribbon Soutache Eton Jacket, Large

Wonderful antique Edwardian Eton jacket dating to the early 1900s, crafted in a textured silk and wool blend and richly embellished with metallic embroidered silk ribbon and multi-color braided soutache trim. This cropped jacket showcases excellent period tailoring, with tuck seams shaping the front and back bodice and continuing through the sleeve hems for a sharp, architectural silhouette.

The back is cut slightly shorter than the front in classic Eton style, enhancing the tailored waistline. The jacket fastens down the front with hook and eye closures. The sleeves are fully lined in blue silk, while the body interior retains a sheer woven cotton lining; the original silk body lining is no longer present.
