Vintage 1930s black silk velvet capelet. Cropped length with a Peter Pan collar, fabric button closure at neckline and vertical 'sun burst' seams extending from shoulders ending in a sweeping silhouette. Both sides have diagonal cut seams creating a wider sweep. The silk velvet is near perfect - soft, supple and smooth.
