Amazing vintage cream silk and lace wedding dress circa 1920 including with the original owner, Esther Johnson's, wedding photo and wax flower & net cap-style veil!

The dress is in near excellent condition and was well preserved throughout the years. Made of lightweight buttery cream silk featuring a Chantilly lace bust inset and trimmed sleeves with top slit 'cold sleeve' openings separated by bow accents. The waistline is gathered with a knotted band that winds around and snaps into place along center and left side waist with a knotted hip embellishment. I adore the asymmetrical skirt as it has such a lovely side drape in a semi-wrap style featuring a pleated sash running down the right hand side. The lace inset snaps up the left side and there are four snap closures at left shoulder seam. The bodice (with exemption of sleeves) is lined with a sleeveless net under bust.

The wax flower and net cap-style veil is very fragile with numerous holes in the net. You could replace the net as the wire headpiece portion with the wax flowers is in sturdy condition.

Dress Condition: Near Excellent!
Some minor faint spotting & the faintest water mark at left underarm area - not noticeable unless closely examining. Net under bust has yellowing to underarm areas but this isn't visible on outside.
