1900s Edwardian Grey Striped Wool Herringbone Day Dress Ensemble, Antique Striped Skirt & Honeycomb Bodice, Chore Dress, 28 Waist

Antique 1900s grey striped wool herringbone Edwardian skirt and bodice day dress set. The stripes are gray, gray with blue undertones and a super thin brown stripe within every other stripe. The bodice is styled with a notched winged collar, honeycomb smocking at each front shoulder, striped oval button accents with hook/eye closures down front, gathers for a slight blouson affect with a nipped banded waist and flared cotton muslin hem that's hidden when tucked into the skirt. The skirt has flattering seams with a seamed panel on back that splits into a center pleat down the skirt. The seamed front has a large center panel that hooks closed on the front left side with hooks and eyes. Both the bodice and skirt are unlined, with exception of the interior skirt waist which has a band of muslin lining with short boning.
