1850s Victorian Floral Printed Day Dress, 19th Century Historical Pioneer Dress, XS/S

Antique 1850s wool and cotton blend printed floral day dress! Wonderful cross-over sleeve detailing featuring sharp scallops double trimmed in velvet with non-functional fabric covered button accents. Drop shoulders and a seamed high waist bodice with front boning. Cartridge pleated sweeping full length skirt with a hidden right side pocket. The bodice has accent buttons and closes with hook/eyes from the waistline to neck. Cotton lines the bodice and sleeves. The skirt portion is unlined with exception of the hidden cotton pocket and cotton trimming the skirt hem which also has a cotton hem protector. Entirely sewn by hand.

This dress would have been worn over a sweeping crinoline to show the fullness of the skirt.

For reference model is 5'2" with a 31.5" bust and 25.5" waist - great fit with just a little extra breathing room. I recommend max waist of 26". Dress form is 33" bust and 24" waist.

Condition: Good- / 170 year old dress! / Can be worn with care
Some tears and patches to skirt. Fabric wear at sleeve hem near closure and a few other minor areas. Underarm discoloration and minor fabric pulling/wear here. Fabric has lightened in areas on FL bust. Enlarge pics for most notable.
