1900s Striped Green Wool Crepe Gibson Girl Bodice with Velvet Trim, Edwardian Bodice, Small 27 Waist

Antique 1900s green and beige striped wool crepe bodice featuring dark green velvet trim with glass button accents! Styled with a high standing collar, that's attached to the bodice by just a few threads, with two hooks/eye closures at nape. Can easily be removed if you want to wear without the high standing collar. The long sleeves end in stitched arrow pointed velvet trim hems. Epitomized by the Gibson Girl of the late 1890s and early 1900s, the bodice has a subtle blouson / pigeon breast effect due to the pintuck pleats that extend partially down the front of each shoulder. The nipped waistline ends in a curved and flared cotton hem. The bodice is fully lined in cotton with an interior bust that closes with hook/eyes. The wool crepe also has hook/eye closures up the front.
