Rare Vintage 1920s Beaded Flapper Dress and Fur Trim Cocoon Coat, 20s Party Dress Jacket Set, Roaring 20s

Incredibly rare authentic vintage 1920s 2pc dress and matching jacket set including a pumpkin spice hued beaded sheer silk flapper dress and matching fox fur trimmed silk cocoon coat! Perfect autumnal color, this set is absolutely stunning. The sheer sleeveless silk flapper dress features double strands of beadwork that extend all the way down the front shoulders to hemline with additional intersecting geometrical beadwork embellishing the bottom 1/3. Ties at both sides designating a drop waist, followed by a short gathered tier from which extends slightly elongated beaded panels that subtly pass the hemline yet do not go unnoticed as they dance about as you move. The backside has a beaded strand that runs down the center to hem. No closures - you'll need to be able to pull her on over your head.

The matching pumpkin spice hued 1920s cocoon coat is made of a luxurious silk which resembles silk crepe de chine but with more pronounced ribbed coils. The feel is heavenly and you can tell the quality is high. The softest fox fur trim in a grayish, creamy white trims the neckline and hem. The coat has one large button and loop closure left of the center. The interior is lined in silk rayon with an interior tie closure for waist and a large interior pocket. The jacket is labeled "Fritzel's Milwaukee".

Set Condition: Very Good / Presents Beautifully!

Dress Notes: Barely visible markings near back waist. 4 visible stitches at underarm seam. No loose beads - all ends are tied off.

Jacket Notes: Large water stain on back right sleeve hem. Fur has 2 wear areas / breaks to backing at FR neckline. Pink spot on front left sleeve. Dark mark on front right neckline fold. Some water staining to interior lining (not visible when wearing). A couple minor pricks.
