Edwardian Printed Cotton Dress, 1900s Antique Gibson Girl Dress Tiered Skirt and Blouse Set, Small

Antique early 1900s sheer printed cotton 2pc Gibson Girl dress, skirt and blouse set featuring a faint off-white floral print amidst speckled gray and a woven stitched 'stripe'. The blouse is styled with an interior white cotton bodice with white glass button down closures. The outer printed sheer cotton portion features pintuck seams extending down the front shoulders and down each side of center back. A pouched 'pouter pigeon' bodice, stylistic of the Gibson Girl, gathers into the nipped waistline with an elongated peplum type hem that you'd tuck into the skirt. The outer portion closes with etched glass buttons down the center. The lightly gathered sheer long sleeves are not lined and end in overlapping arrow pointed hems with non-functional button accents.

Paired with the floor length asymmetrical tiered skirt with a slightly elongated back hem. Fitted waistband and slightly fitted over the top hip where the skirt flows out into a very full sweep due to a tightly gathered center back. One large hook/eye closure at center back waistband.
