Vintage 1940s hand embroidered peasant blouse made out of 'parachute silk' which was actually nylon from 1942 and beyond. This fantastic white nylon parachute blouse features vibrant hand embroidery in pink, red, purple, green, yellowish orange and blue depicting flowers, budding stems and swirls. Smocked waist and sleeve hems - the blouse has 3 snap closures up left side hem and a snap at each sleeve hem.
