1860s Victorian Pagoda Sleeve Silk Bodice, Antique Civil War Era Top, Historical Fashion

Outstanding antique 1850s 1860s brown and bronze silk check bodice with sweeping pagoda sleeves trimmed in floral pattered velvet ribbon! The pagoda sleeves are amazing styled with a piped drop shoulder followed by a gathered poof from which the sweeping wide bell shape draws the eye especially with the floral velvet ribbon trim. The bodice itself has a fitted round neckline, flattering double bust seams and back princess seams with a fantastic sweeping peplum hem with an elongated backside. The bodice is lined in glazed cotton and closes with hooks/eyes down the center front.
