Gorgeous antique 1910s hand embroidered red silk and lace dress! The silk is luscious and the yoke features red and black silk embroidered medallions with zigzag. The dress is styled with a scalloped cream floral lace trim neckline and tiered half sleeves. The bodice has two wide tuck pleats extending over each shoulder. A gathered cummerbund nips and defines the waistline. The skirt is styled with numerous pintuck pleats. She closes down the center back partially into skirt with hook/eyes. The bodice is lined in thin silk short boning encircling the waist.

Condition: Good! / Presents Beautifully with minor flaws.
Bodice lining has tearing. Small hole to skirt. Faint discoloration / water markings on back skirt (have to be searching closely to see). Underarm darkening & pinking to lace @ seam. A couple minor spots & a couple loose silk floss ends.
*Weird alteration - the silk has been brought up at R underarm over lace seam - see bottom middle pic of last collage.
