Antique Edwardian Wedding Dress, Titanic Era 1910s 1920s Beaded Silk and Lace Bohemian Dress, Downton Abbey

Breathtaking antique Edwardian wedding gown, late 1910s or early 1920s cream silk wedding dress with ivory embroidery, clear iridescent beadwork, a scalloped floral net lace shawl and silk tassel adornment!

This wedding gown has been professionally cleaned and restored by Sewtique in Connecticut and is in near mint condition! So please purchase with confidence as the quality is outstanding.

The antique gown itself is a true beauty with a V'd net neckline with center beadwork and embroidery; the bodice is met with a cream silk 'bib' overlay that snaps into place at the top shoulders and extends into points down both sides featuring unique embroidery throughout in ivory with the clear iridescent beadwork; the backside is almost identical layout with a larger band of silk across the back however the backside straps are stitched into place at the top back shoulder area instead of snaps; underneath the waistbands the silk is lightly gathered creating a soft wavy skirt with double looped silk trim!

Detail was even put into the short sleeves made of net with dangling looped cream silk trim and an additional trim of super thin netting! The dress closes up the left side with snaps and the waist has its own inner waistband with eye/hook closures with "Warner's" marked on a few of the seams.

This gown comes with a beautiful scalloped ivory cream floral net lace shawl / over lay creating an incredible visage and a cream silk knotted tassel. I've shown it worn a couple ways if you view the additional photos on my Facebook business page.

Condition: Near mint, professionally restored, clean, ready to wear! 2 small holes to silk skirt & a very faint yellow mark on back skirt near hem. Tiny hole to net at left shoulder and a gap in the very fine lace on that sleeve - the lace is so fine here it's very whispy.
